21 July 1898: Ellen Hoey dies and is buried at Cemetery of the Holy Sepulchre in East Orange on 23 July 1898. Cemetery records show she was 63 years old (b. 1835), born in Ireland, and living at 47 Bergen Street. She is the widow of Patrick Hoey and she owns the burial plot (Grave 3, Lot 211, Block M). W. A. Murray provided funeral arrangments and Father O'Connor was the priest presiding. This is believed to be Henry's mother.
