Melanie Rossovich and Robert Hoey, both of Grass Valley, have announced their engagement. The future bride is the daughter of Thelma Rossovich of Grass Valley and the late Frank Rossovich Sr. of Grass Valley. She is a graduate of Nevada Union High School and graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1984. She is a teacher at Alta Sierra School. The future groom is the son of Rymer Hoey of Loomis and Ann Hoey of Forest Grove, Ore. He graduated from United States International University with a doctorate in psychology in 1988. He is a private practice psychologist and school counselor. Hoey proposed to Rossovich on Nov. 10, 2007, at a favorite Northern California coast location while celebrating the one-year anniversary of their first date. The couple plan to marry June 22 in a nearby vineyard. They plan to honeymoon in Lake Tahoe and the Cook Islands.
