URSULA HOEY (wife of Louis Stanton Hoey Jr)
Ursula (Fugger) Hoey, 77, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008 at Dock Terrace in Lansdale. Mrs. Hoey lived in Norristown, East Norriton, Montgomeryville, and most recently resided at Dock Meadows in Hatfield and Dock Terrace. Born in Toronto, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Godfred and Ursula (Wiltschnig) Fugger. Mrs. Hoey was employed by Merck & Co., where she worked for 25 years until her retirement in 1994. She enjoyed caring for her dog and reading. She also enjoyed ice hockey. She enjoyed cheering for her grandchildren as they participated in plays, recitals, and sports. She is survived by six children: Maureen Budzilowicz of Harleysville; Brian Hoey, and his wife Mary Cay of Spring City; Louis Hoey, and his wife Susan of Doylestown; Dennis Hoey of Lansdale; Michael Hoey of Telford, and Ursula Howson, and her husband Geoff of Ocean, N.J.; two sisters: Doris Wolper, and her husband Jack and Anna Ennis; two brothers: Charles Fugger and John Murray; 12 grandchildren, and two generations of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers: Godfred Fugger and Joseph Fugger. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 21 at the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home in Lansdale with calling hours on Thursday, Nov. 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
