5 October 1913: Sister Agnes Theresa Hoey born. From family photos, she appears to have Downs Syndrome.

1917:  Father opened first Jewelry Store at North 4th Street, East Newark, NJ.

30 August 1917: Brother Charles J. Hoey born.

About 1923: Sister Agnes Theresa Hoey dies perhaps complicayed by her Downs Syndrome.

27 September 1923:  Arthur and sister Helen gave their father an inscribed silver locket for his birthday.  Inscribed "To Dad, from Helen and Arthur, 9-27-22, Arthur C, Hoey, Kearny 1050."  This locket was meant to carry travel papers for the Elks club.  The filogris on the interior of the locket says "Hello Bill", the symbol that all Elks are friends and on a first name basis.  Arthur C. Hoey Jr. gave the locket to Charles' son, Arthur Hoey in 1994.
