1882:  Baptised at St. Pius (Holy Cross) Church in Harrison, NJ.  Sponsors at christening were John H. Denny and Sarah Donnelly.  Date unknown.

5 October 1885:  Father Charles J. Hoey died when Arthur was three.  May have lived at 39 Harrison Avenue, Harrison, NJ where his parents lived per the 1880 census.

20 January 1886: Sister Julia Hoey born.

29 October 1888: Sister Julia Hoey dies. She is buried at Cemetery of the Holy Sepulchre in East Orange, NJ.

10 February 1910: Arthur's older sister, Helen "Nellie" Marie Hoey Carey dies in Pittsburgh, PA. Family lore suggests that she had influenza while pregnant with her third child, Charles "Bud" Carey, died, and the newborn was saved.

18 October 1911: Daughter Mary Agnes Theresa Hoey born
to Arthur C. Hoey Sr and Agnes Teresa Kennedy.

5 October 1913: Daughter Agnes Theresa Hoey born to Arthur C. Hoey Sr and Agnes Teresa Kennedy. She was baptised on 17 October 1913 at St. Pius Church (now Holy Cross) in Harrison, New Jersey. Sponsors were George Kennedy and Mary Devie. Priest was T. J.Hardy? Family lore indicates Agnes had Reye Syndrome. Photographs suggest she may have been born with Down Syndrome.

1921 (or 1923): Daughter Agnes Hoey died. She is buried at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road North Arlington, Bergen County, New Jersey.

27 September 1923:  Son Arthur and daughter Helen gave their father an inscribed silver locket for his birthday.  Inscribed "To Dad, from Helen and Arthur, 9-27-22, Arthur C, Hoey, Kearny 1050."  This locket was meant to carry travel papers for the Elks club.  The filogris on the interior of the locket says "Hello Bill", the symbol that all Elks are friends and on a first name basis.  Arthur C. Hoey Jr. gave the locket to Charles' son, Arthur Hoey in 1994.

Newspaper obit indicates born in Kearny, NJ.  Ran the jewelry store from 1930-1953.  Member of the Elks Lodge 1050, past regent of the Royal Arcanum, and the Holy Name Society of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in North Arlington, NJ.  Funeral was held at Reid Funeral Home, 585 Belgrove Drive, Arlington, NJ.

28 May 1964: Daughter Helen nee Hoey Turner dies

24 November 1966: Wife Agnes Teresa nee Kennedy dies in Richmond, Virginia. She is buried next to her husband Arthur at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Orange, Essex County, New Jersey.  Plot: Sect. B, Lot 226, Grave 3
